The three staff received their degrees during the University's Winter Ceremonies program at the Royal & Derngate on Sunday 13 February.

Rob Howe, Ian Hardwick and Lisa McKenzie, spent the last three years working in their busy day-jobs while also juggling the intensive requirements of the MBA course at The University of Northampton.

We're really proud of our achievement. The assignments and dissertation were very challenging, but we'd highly recommend others colleagues to consider taking the same route. Being surrounded by academia at work it seemed a natural thing for us to push ourselves and take on the MBA course!

Speaking on behalf of the successful trio, Lisa McKenzie (School of Health manager)

I'm hugely proud of Lisa, Rob and Ian. They're leading by example and showing what academic perseverance and excellence can achieve.

Professor Nick Petford, Vice Chancellor of The University of Northampton
