University nominated for three Times Higher awards

The categories the University has been shortlisted for are:

  • Most Innovative Teacher for Jonathan Adams, School of Science and Technology
  • Outstanding Support for Early Career Researchers
  • Outstanding Contribution to Sustainable Development for the iCon project

Dr Frank Burdett, Pro Vice Chancellor (Research and Business Development), The University of Northampton, who leads awards and prize entries at the higher education institution, commented:

We are delighted to have been nominated for a hat trick of prestigious Times Higher awards and for our successes in teaching and learning, research and sustainable development to have been recognised by the judging panel.

Jonathan Adams, nominated for Most Innovative Teacher, added:

I am extremely proud to have been nominated for this award. It recognises not only personal achievement but also the kind support and encouragement that I have received from the University, externally from the Higher Education Academy Engineering Subject Centre and, most importantly, from the students that have trusted and worked with me.
