The School of The Arts Summer Show opens to the public
Published Friday 8th June 2012
The free annual exhibition is at the University’s Avenue Campus and can be viewed by the public until June 15.
David Jackson from The Northampton Chronicle went behind the scenes on a preview day to speak to students and staff about the inspiration behind the work.
Summer Show Projects Manager Christine Midgley said: "The Summer Shows form a must-see collection of exhibitions, where graduating students show the very best of the work they have developed over three years of study.
"Whether they have specialised in one of the many subjects offered in the School of the Arts or are just starting that process having completed a one year foundation diploma, the work is often innovative and extraordinary beautiful."
The free event showcases work from graduating students in Fashion, Surface Design and Printed Textiles, Fine Art, Fine Art Painting and Drawing, Graphic Communication, Illustration, Product Design, Interior Design, Architectural Technology, Photographic Practice and Foundation Art and Design.
