The University of Northampton’s School of The Arts celebrated the achievements of final year Fashion & Textiles students in its annual Graduate Fashion Show.
This year it showcased the breadth of new talent in catwalk and gallery displays in the Wing at Silverstone Circuits, on Thursday 24 May.
The fashion show was the first ever to be staged at the Formula 1 venue near Towcester to a packed audience of family, friends and VIPs.
Vicki Dean, Head of Fashion commented: "We have huge ambition at the University of Northampton and our graduate work just gets better and better so Silverstone provided a suitably iconic venue.
This is the best year we have ever had, with fantastic work not only in the surface design and catwalk collections but also in textile design and of course in footwear, being at the heart of the footwear industry in Northampton."
This is a University which is globally renowned in subject specialisms such as Leather Technology and Fashion. The fashion show represents the highlight of the academic year for the Fashion and Textiles Department and turns out students who go on to work at leading fashion houses when they graduate.

All of the students used different materials to create their unique collections. Some of these students include Jason George, Sophie Everson and Emily Thomas.
Jason used luxury fabrics and leather in his high-end menswear collection. Sophie incorporated pockets for Ipad, Kindle and Oystercard in her functional womenswear and Emily collaborated with Dr. Martens tannery to create her own leather.
