National policing conference in Northampton

Policing and the criminal justice system will come under the spotlight when leading members of police forces from across the country and renowned academics gather in Northampton.

The conference, called 'Police Learning: Professionalisation and Partnerships', will take place at The University of Northampton's Sunley Conference Centre, Park Campus over Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 September.

The event is being organised by the University's School of Social Sciences under the auspices of The Higher Education Forum for Learning and Development in Policing. Activities will enable key practitioners, managers, policy makers and academics to share current thinking and best practice in police and broader criminal justice learning and development.
