Graduation hat trick a family affair

Married couple Jonathan and Janet Guy were particularly proud when their daughter, Joanna, added to a family tradition.
She received her Degree Certificate at this year's Summer Graduation Ceremonies at The University of Northampton.
Joanna, who received her Bachelor of Arts in Primary Education on Wednesday 20 July, follows the path of both her parents, who also received degrees after studying at the same institution.
Jonathan graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Business Studies in 1980, and then a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies in 1983, while Janet received her BEd Hons degree in Primary Education in 1981.
Jonathan, who additionally works at The University of Northampton's Business School as a senior lecturer in Accounting and Finance, commented:
Janet and I are absolutely thrilled with Joanna's achievement and it was wonderful to see her graduate from the same institution as ourselves.
Joanna has already managed to secure a job with a local primary school and starts work imminently, so we're doubly proud of her.
