University Award is sign of The Times

Michael Binyon, Leader Writer and Former Diplomatic Editor of The Times, received an Honorary Fellowship from The University of Northampton during Summer Graduation Ceremonies today (19 July 2011).
Speaking in front of several hundred graduates, their families and friends, Michael said:
"I'm immensely flattered and honoured to receive this award. Journalists very rarely write about good news, unless it's to do with sports. However, I promise to put in a good word for The University of Northampton whenever the opportunity arises."
Michael's Honorary Fellowship was presented as part of the Summer Ceremonies taking place this week (19 - 22 July) at The University of Northampton, during which 3,532 students will be graduating.
