Published Thursday 17th March 2011
BA Popular Music students from The University of Northampton will be taking to the professional stage from this week.
The students also have gigs lined up at the popular Picturedrome venue in Northampton.
The BA Popular Music end of year shows, which are free of charge and open to the public, will feature Year 2 students performing on Thursday 17 March and Year 3 students taking to the same stage on Thursday 24 March.
Year 1 students will also get the chance to perform at the University's Main Hall, Avenue Campus, on Tuesday 29 March.
Doors open for all performances at 7pm.
These shows are a great way for the students to show off the music that they have been working on for the last year. It's always great for the public to see what we do on the course, and how much passion, enthusiasm and talent our students have. We are looking forward to three nights of electrifying live music.Dr Nathan Wiseman-Trowse, the University's Course Leader in BA Popular Music, School of The Arts
