iCon Environmental Innovation Centre

The iCon Environmental Innovation Centre offers expertise and support to construction businesses in the UK and beyond.

The physical base of the Sustainable Construction iNet is the iCon building in Daventry. The building functions as a multi-use centre encouraging business innovation in sustainable construction and offer first class conference and community facilities.

The iCon includes 55 flexible business units for start-up businesses. The iCon building itself is an outstanding example of energy efficiency and high quality environmentally friendly design and is ideally located in Daventry town centre. Located in one of the country's fastest growing areas, the project is well placed to advance green technologies and inform future development in the UK.

The iCon Environmental Innovation Centre can support businesses in a number of ways including: 

• Assistance in researching, developing and implementing new services, products and processes

• Developing skills and knowledge in a specific subject area

• Facilitating networking contacts through sector specific events

• Providing subsidised innovation support
