NVision - immersive projection technologies and modelling centre
The University of Northampton is home to the NVision centre, a three dimensional (3D) immersive visualisation and computational modelling facility. Businesses can use the centre to develop and promote products using state of the art immersive technology.
Three dimensional technology offers businesses a new and differentiated way to interact with customers, staff or suppliers and the means to make better products at a lower cost and to market them sooner.
Facilities available at the University include:

A five sided High Definition ActiveCube (CAVE) combined with a six metre ActiveWall located in a stunning great hall setting

A four metre ActiveWall situated in a secure, private dark room

A 512 Core High Performance Computational (HPC) Cluster
The NVision centre is based at the University's Avenue Campus in the newly refurbished Newton Building. Businesses using the facilities can also let office space in the building on a short or medium term basis.
