Research in the School of Education
The School of Education at The University of Northampton has an active research culture. The School has an approved research centre, The Centre for Education and Research (CeSNER).
The centre comprises a team of academic research staff and visiting professors, all of whom are engaged in research and teaching, along with research assistants, research administrators and full-time and part-time PhD students.
The research centre in the School of Education has a commitment to working in partnership with professional colleagues and schools on a national and international level. CeSNER has developed a reputation for supporting Local Authorities, charitable organisations, and, government agencies in the development and delivery of research and consultancy, worldwide.
The research conducted through the research centre has been reported in a range of international journals, books and conference proceedings. The Journal of Research in Special Educational Needs, Support for Learning and PMLD Link are all hosted within the Centre for Education and Research.
