Current research projects in the School of The Arts

The School of The Arts at The University of Northampton is home to several active research groups and is currently undertaking a number of research projects.

The Choreographic Lab (part of The Centre for Practice-led Research in the Arts) is currently running a two year professional research and development project entitled Articulating Dance. This project brings together dance and performance makers who work professionally and in higher education and will host open seminars, workshop presentations and performances throughout the project.

The Landscape and Contemporary Arts Research Group (also part of The Centre for Practice-led Research in the Arts) is currently engaging with groups at the University of the West of England and the University of Plymouth to explore the complexity of the term 'landscape' and produce a variety of creative work around it.

There are also ongoing research and research activities in the other Arts research groups, as well as regular events such as seminars and readings.
