Research degree fees 2011
Tuition fees for research degrees (PhD, MPhil) at The University of Northampton for the academic year 2011/12 are as follows.
Full-time tuition fees:
- 'Home'/EU students: £3,600
- International students: £9,550
Part-time tuition fees:
- 'Home'/EU students: £1,650
- International students: £4,370
- PhD by Published Works, part-time Home/EU students: £2,185
- PhD by Published Works, part-time international students: £4,370
Writing up fee:
- £500

Research degree studentships
The University of Northampton provides research degree studentships. These include a maintenance grant, a project budget to cover travel and subsistence costs and payment of fees and registration.
These studentships are attached to specific research areas, usually in one of the University's approved research centres.
The University of Northampton studentships are advertised annually, normally during early summer.
