Supporting researchers
The Graduate School is an institutional-wide hub that works to provide academic leadership and administrative support in the pursuit of graduate education and researcher development. The Graduate School works closely with Schools and external organisations to ensure that researchers are supported in their academic and personal development.
The Graduate School provides opportunities to undertake research degrees for the award of MPhil and PhD, by full and part-time modes of study, PhDs by Means of Published Works and Practice-based PhDs in The Arts. The Doctor of Professional Practice programme in Health is also supported by the Graduate School.

All postgraduate research students belong to the Graduate School and get access to appropriate and up-to-date information technology, learning resources, careers advice and welfare guidance.
The Graduate School acts as a hub for research activity and provides administrative support for research, a point of contact with the outside world, a study and training centre for research students and acts as a source of guidance and help on research and funding opportunities and procedures.
