Student Services
Student Services at The University of Northampton offers information, advice and guidance for staff and provides student support.
Our professional, experienced and approachable teams can help students before and after joining the institution and can assist in making sure students get the most out of their university experience.
The Student Services' help desks are the first port of call for any students requiring help, information and advice. Help desk staff can either assist with initial enquiries or refer to services as appropriate.
The service is open to staff and all students, including postgraduate students, mature students, part-time students and students at partner colleges. Opening times for Student Services.
Services offered include:

- Centre for Community Volunteering

Counselling and Mental Health Services for health and wellbeing

Disability Support from Access Ability team (including guidance on Disabled Students' Allowances (DSA))

Financial Guidance (including allocation of emergency funds)
- Gym
- Initial guidance and information via the Student Services' help desks

Jobshop (part-time job service)

Northampton Assessment Centre (for DSA assessments)

Residential Life (support in Halls of Residence)
Guidance in producing accessible information is also offered to all staff.
