Quality and Academic Partnerships

The role of Quality and Academic Partnerships (QAP) at The University of Northampton is to support and assist academic staff in ensuring that courses meet quality standards.

Responsibility for academic quality standards resides with academic staff who deliver programmes, but QAP assist with the monitoring and delivering of quality processes and can help staff ensure that they are meeting standards of best practice.

QAP also creates and maintains complete and accurate records of the programmes and curriculum designed to meet the quality and standards defined.

  • Module specifications
  • Programme specifications
  • Implementation & maintenance of Academic Database System (ADS)
• External Scrutiny
• Validation and Review
