Marketing
The Marketing department is responsible for marketing the University, its relationships with students, prospective students, businesses and stakeholders as well as managing its reputation through strategic activities. The department supports the work of the academic schools and divisions within the University to deliver a unified corporate message.
Marketing is made up of the following four areas:
Marketing
The Marketing team handle advertising, market research, market growth and development and brand management. The team also organise and manage external recruitment events such as Open Days and Applicant Visit Days.
Press, PR and Publications
The Press, PR and Publications team generate publicity within the local, national and international media about the University's achievements. The team handles copywriting, internal communications, the design and production of corporate publications as well as providing PR consultancy to other areas of the University.
Alumni and Development
The Alumni and Development team are responsible for fundraising for University development, scholarships and bursaries and also manage major donations. The Alumni and Development team maintain relations with alumni and organise alumni events.
Prospect Information, Advice and Guidance
The Prospect Information, Advice and Guidance team manage the provision of higher education information to prospective students, their teachers and guardians at regional schools and colleges. The team also handle other areas of student recruitment and course enquiries.
