Human Resources and Organisational Development Services

The Office for Human Resources and Organisational Development Services is responsible for delivering the HR Strategy to support the University of Northampton. HR and OD services support the University to build its organisational and people capacity and capability, transform its culture and structure the institution to meet its future business needs.

The department has three functions; HR Business Partnering and Organisational Development, Occupational Health and Safety and Pay, Pensions and Management Information.

Human Resources and Organisational Development strategic framework is structured in to six themes of activity:

  • Organisational and People Development
  • Performance Management
  • Employee Engagement
  • Total Pay and Reward
  • Health and Wellbeing
  • HR Business Processes

Working in partnership with trade unions and professional associations, the University is committed to promote positive industrial relations, transparent staff communication and maintaining a high-level of performance and attendance culture whilst maintaining awareness of equality and diversity principles, respect of others and excellent people management practice.
