Infrastructure Services

Infrastructure Services at The University of Northampton take care of the entire University infrastructure and operate from both campuses.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure Services are divided into five divisions, each with their individual responsibilities:

Directors Office and Project Team

The Directors Office and Project Team are responsible for infrastructure strategy and development, sustainability, policies and procedures, construction and refurbishment projects.

Infrastructure Division

The Infrastructure Division oversees repairs and maintenance, energy management, grounds maintenance and the helpdesk.

Facilities Division

The Facilities Division takes care of car parking, security, housekeeping, porters, post rooms, reception/switchboard, waste management and transportation.

Commercial Operations

Commercial Operations has responsibility for overseeing and co-ordinating the commercial activity at the University. This includes the catering and retail outlets, conferencing, summer schools and sporting facilities.
