Keyboard shortcuts for JAWS v11 users accessing NILE via Internet Explorer v 8.0.x

Access NILE from Favourites in Browser window (Alt + A)
In the first form field type your user name and tab to next field
Type your password, then select Enter
List links by selecting Insert, F7
Type the first letter of your module code until you hear the module that you require. For example, if your module is 'Nursing' type the letter 'N' until you hear 'Nursing'

Access NILE from Bookmarks in Browser window (Alt + B)
Type your user name and tab to next field
Type your password, then select Enter
List links by selecting Insert, F7
Type first letter of your module code until you hear the module that you require. For example, if your module is 'Nursing' type the letter 'N' until you hear 'Nursing'

Navigation

When you enter the module there are two main frames, Header and Content. You can move between the frames by pressing Insert and F9. The 'Header' frame contains generic Course layout links. The 'Content' frame contains the actual course content.

Within the Course, the screen is divided into 2 sections: the left-hand section contains navigation buttons/links; selecting one of these buttons/links will take you to the relevant content.

All navigation links and other can be listed using INSERT F7.
