The University of Northampton welcomes applications from students of all ages, cultures and backgrounds.

Applicants may also be considered on the basis of relevant experience. This can come from employment, voluntary activity, independent study and/or recent formal study.

The University of Northampton will also, where applicable, acknowledge prior learning at another institution to allow applicants to gain direct entry into higher levels of a course. For more information, please see the Policy for the Accreditation of Prior Learning.

Applicants who do not fulfil the entry requirements outlined in their chosen course's description, but believe that they do have equivalent experience are advised to contact the University's Admissions team who will be happy to discuss their options.
