Applying online
Which courses can be applied for online?
You can apply online for the following types of course at The University of Northampton:
- Part-time
- Distance learning
- Professional courses
- Postgraduate
If you wish to apply for a full-time undergraduate course please apply via UCAS.

Difficulty finding your chosen course?
If a course you are interested in is not listed, please contact Admissions (UK/EU students) or the International Office between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Certificates and references
The online application process has a facility to upload scanned documents such as certificates and references, so please use these to complete your application.
Contact email address
In order for us to communicate with you about your online application you need to have your own email address. If we have any queries regarding your application we will contact you via email, so please check your emails regularly.
Other features of online application
You can use the online application service to:
- View or print a summary of your application form on completion
- Save your application form in order to complete it later - if at any point you need to leave your computer, clicking 'SAVE' will save your progress allowing you to resume later
- Monitor the progress of your application and check its status
- Accept or decline an offer, if appropriate
- Contact the University regarding your online application
- Update your personal contact details
