The University supports bus services 7, 18, 19 and 21 which link the University campuses to other locations in Northampton.

Latest News

Service 21 now operates directly between Park Campus and Northampton town centre, up to every 15 minutes, Monday to Saturday, offering a quick link to Park Campus from Greyfriars Bus Station.

Service 19 remains as the main inter-campus route throughout the day, seven days per week, serving Avenue Campus, Park Campus, Kingsthorpe, Northampton Rail Station, Bus Station and Town Centre.

From Monday 3 June 2013, services 19 and 21 will have route extensions and timetable changes. See Bus timetable changes for more details.  

Service 21 

Park Campus - Eastern Avenue - Kingsthorpe - Bus Station & Town Centre

Service 21 is operated by Uno Buses six days per week, from early morning to mid-evening. Travel to Park Campus from within the Free Travel Zone, is free all day Monday to Friday for students and staff on production of a valid University ID card.

A discounted fare of £1 applies for students and staff for any single journey outside the Free Travel Zone, all day Monday to Friday, for example from Northampton bus station to Park Campus. Northampton Buzz Card and PlusBus tickets are accepted. 

Service 19 

Park Campus - Kingsthorpe - Avenue Campus - Northampton Rail Station - Bus Station & Town Centre

Service 19 is operated by Uno Buses seven days per week, from early morning to late evening. Campus to campus travel, as well as travel to the University from within the Free Travel Zone, is free all day Monday to Friday for students and staff on production of a valid University ID card.

Service 18

Park Campus - Moulton College - Moulton - Boothville - Weston Favell Shopping Centre & Bus Interchange

Service 18 is operated by Uno Buses, Monday to Friday daytime, with free travel available between Park Campus and Moulton College for students and staff on production of a valid University ID card.

A discounted fare of £1 applies for students and staff for any single journey all day Monday to Friday. Northampton Buzz Card and PlusBus tickets are accepted.    

Service 7

Park Campus - Boothville - Northampton College (Booth Lane) - Kettering Road - Northampton Bus Station

Bus service 7 is operated by Stagecoach, with free travel available from Park Campus or The White Elephant (for Avenue Campus) to Northampton College, Booth Lane, Monday to Friday daytime, for students and staff on production of a valid University ID card.

There are other commercial bus services in Northampton serving the University, but standard public fares apply for these, as they are not funded by the University.
