Professional Doctorates

The Professional Doctorates handbook is designed to be a practical guide to the Framework for Professional Doctorates at The University of Northampton.  It contains most of the information you will need to find your way through the system and is designed to be useful to professional doctorate students, programme leaders, supervisors, research degree tutors, members of Board of Studies, Framework Assessment Board, Research Degrees Boards, members of the Research Degrees Committee, administrators and other personnel within the University involved with professional doctorate programmes.

This handbook contains guidance on the procedures and processes of the Framework for Professional Doctorate. Each professional doctorate programme will provide a programme handbook giving specific information about the content and delivery of the programme. The Professional Doctorates Framework Handbook is intended as a dynamic document and will be updated and added to periodically

The validation document has been submitted for approval in response to the recommendations of the validation panel.
