Public transport to Park Campus

Train

Northampton railway station is one hour by train from London Euston or from Birmingham New Street. Bus service 19 to the University operates from outside Northampton railway station (on Black Lion Hill) up to five times per hour. 

Bus or coach

National and regional coach services operate to Northampton Greyfriars bus station, located in Northampton town centre.

Bus service 19 operates to Park Campus from outside Northampton railway station (on Black Lion Hill) and from Northampton Greyfriars bus station (bay C) up to five times per hour during the daytime, then twice per hour in the evening. Staff and students can use service 19 free of charge between campuses by showing their ID card (Monday to Friday).

Bus service 21 operates a direct service to Park Campus from Northampton Greyfriars bus station (bay C) up to four times per hour during the daytime (not via Avenue Campus). 

Bus service 18 operates to Park Campus from the Weston Favell Centre, Moulton and Moulton College, hourly during the daytime (Monday to Friday).

Cycling to Park Campus

Park Campus is accessible by bicycle. It is approximately 20 minutes from Northampton railway station or Greyfriars bus station, mostly on cycle paths or cycle lanes. Cycle storage and showers are available on campus.

Driving directions to Park Campus

From the North

  1. Leave the M6, or M1 at junction 19, and proceed onto the A14 towards Felixstowe/Corby/Kettering.
  2. Continue along the A14. At junction 1, take the A5199 exit signed to Welford.
  3. Turn left onto the A5199 signed to Northampton.
  4. Continue on the A5199 for eleven miles.
  5. In Kingsthorpe, turn left at the traffic light junction onto the A508 (Harborough Road).
  6. Take the fourth road on the right (Boughton Green Road) signed to Park Campus.
  7. Continue on Boughton Green Road for three-quarters of a mile. Go across two mini roundabouts. Turn right at the next mini roundabout into Park Campus. 

From the South

  1. Leave the M1 at junction 15 and follow the signs for the A45 towards  Northampton.
  2. After approximately five miles, take the exit for the A43 signed to Weston Favell.
  3. On the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A43 (Lumbertubs Way).
  4. Continue on the A43 for two miles. At the second roundabout, take the second exit onto the A5076 (Talavera Way).
  5. Continue to follow the A5076 for one-and-a-half miles.
  6. At the third roundabout take the second exit onto Boughton Green Road.
  7. Continue on Boughton Green Road for one-third of a mile. Go across one mini roundabout. Turn left at the next mini roundabout into Park Campus.

From the East

  1. Leave the A14 at Junction 13 and follow the signs for the A45 towards Northampton.
  2. After approximately eighteen miles, take the exit for the A43 signed to Weston Favell.
  3. On the roundabout, take the third exit onto the A43 (Lumbertubs Way).
  4. Continue on the A43 for two miles. At the second roundabout, take the second exit onto the A5076 (Talavera Way).
  5. Continue to follow the A5076 for one-and-a-half miles.
  6. At the third roundabout take the second exit onto Boughton Green Road.
  7. Continue on Boughton Green Road for one-third of a mile. Go across one mini roundabout. Turn left at the next mini roundabout into Park Campus.
