One-to-one sessions 'Using the catalogue'

Advice on how to tackle reading lists and search for items of interest. Tips on how to manage your Library account, including renewals, reservations, bookings, etc.

Obtaining books in alternative formats

We will happily contact publishers on your behalf in order to obtain books in electronic formats if they are necessary for your studies.

Access to assistive equipment

Height-adjustable desks, coloured overlays, long term loan laptops and digital voice recorders.

Access to assistive software

JAWS, Kurzweil 1000, TextHELP Read & Write Gold, Inspiration and MindGenius.

Help with locating, reaching for and carrying material within the library

We're happy to help if you find it difficult to bend, stretch, move or read spine labels/shelfmarks.
