Residential Life Team

Community Living Agreement
All students will be asked to sign a Community Living Agreement at the beginning of term. All residents will be able to put forward ideas and agree boundaries, for example on noise levels, having friends around and cleaning and washing up. A copy of the agreement will then be kept in each flat and the Residential Life team will keep a copy.
The Residential Life team can help with completing the agreement if needed.
Members of the Residential Life team:
-
The Principle Warden - lives on campus and handles serious out of hours residential occurrences
-
Senior Wardens - provide support for community development activities and academic support to residents
-
Day and Night Wardens - provide pastoral support and guidance, as well as dealing with discipline issues
-
Assistant Wardens - fellow students who provide peer support and community development
The Residential Life team adheres to a strict confidentiality policy, which states that students are able to discuss issues in complete confidence. The team does however reserve the right to pass on information in extreme circumstances such as the prevention or detection of a criminal act, or where a student is deemed to pose a serious risk to themselves or others.
