The Housing List
The Housing List contains details of properties landlords would like to advertise for the forthcoming academic year.
The Housing List is currently closed for updating and will re re-opened on Wednesday 8 February 2012.
Working in partnership with the Northampton Student Accreditation Scheme (NSAS), the East Midlands Landlord Accreditation Scheme (EMLAS) and Studentpad, the Housing List provides essential information on available properties such as address, landlord details and rent. It also provides additional details as to the facilities included within the property, for example, whether the property has a lounge, the number of toilets and whether there is a garden.
To appear on the list, a property must have passed the following criteria
-
It must have been inspected by either the Local Borough Council or the University. In many cases properties have been inspected by both organisations
-
The landlord must provide a valid gas safety certificate for any gas appliance in the property
-
The landlord must provide a current electrical safety certificate for the property
-
The landlord must provide evidence of Accreditation from the Northampton Student Accreditation Scheme or East Midlands Landlord Accreditation Scheme
