Enhancing the student learning experience

Enhancement of the student learning experience is fundamental to the University's Learning and Teaching Sub-Strategy and is central to the work of the Department for Enhanced Learning, Teaching, Achievement and Employability. Such enhancement can take a variety of forms.

The Strategy has four key areas for development that need to be underpinned by evidence-based practice, pedagogic research and continuing professional development:

• Assessment
• Curriculum development
• Technology Enhanced Learning
• Employability

All areas support the retention, progression and achievement of students.

The Department for Enhanced Learning, Teaching, Achievement and Employability would welcome case studies about any of the key themes.
