Award maps

An award map is specific to year of entry, and shows you which modules your award contains. The award map states which modules must be taken to complete the award (compulsory modules) and tells you from which modules you can choose where there is an element of choice (designated modules).

The award map will also tell you how many credits are awarded for each module and if there are any modules you must have completed in order to take that module (pre-requisites).

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information in these award maps, The University cannot guarantee to offer the modules in awards as described.

Some modules will only run subject to a minimum recruitment and not all modules on a specific Award Map are always offered in any one year.

Some recent changes to modules for some awards are 'subject to approval'.
