IT support
IT support for university staff is available as follows:
- Urgent teaching room/lecture theatre support
- Other IT help (including office, off-campus, etc)
- Larger or wider issues such as development needs, projects, or support for specific courses and modules
Urgent teaching room/lecture theatre support
Please call the Teaching Room Support hotline, which will be advertised in all general teaching rooms across both campuses. This hotline will connect you directly to one of the Client Service Specialists via a mobile phone and your call will receive high priority. We aim to respond immediately to calls for help in teaching situations.
Please do not use this hotline for any other calls, as this may affect our speed of response to urgent teaching room calls.
The Teaching Room Support hotline numbers are:
- Avenue Campus, extension 3563
- Park Campus, extension 3562
Please note that dedicated teaching rooms are usually supported by School technical staff but in their absence Information Services will offer any support they can.
Other IT help
Please use IS Direct for other help with IT.
Larger or wider issues such as development needs, projects, or support for specific courses and modules
Staff should initially log their request via IS Direct, as above. The request will be passed to one of the Client Service Specialists, who will contact you. This will enable IS to monitor the progress, to ensure that we meet your requirements.
