Communication with staff and students
There are a variety of ways for staff to communicate with staff and students.
The different options allow staff to contact a specific group (for example a seminar group or students on a certain course) or all staff or students and use a variety of formats depending on what information they wish to convey.
Communication methods are as follows:
- Information can be placed on both the staff and student homepages on the website
- Staff can communicate between themselves using the staff forum
- An individual email can be sent to all staff
- Staff can send group emails to students using NILE
- Staff can request messages on all student computers using the screensaver
- Staff can post details of an event they are organising using the events calendar
