Landlords

Landlords are able to register their properties with The University of Northampton to be advertised as student accommodation.

All accommodation registered with The University of Northampton must comply with quality and safety standards. Landlords must therefore have their properties accredited by Northampton Student Accreditation Scheme before they can be advertised.

Accredited student accommodation is then advertised on the University's Housing List which is the first stop for students looking for housing.

Article 4 Direction

All new Landlords/Agents or Representative must contact Northampton Borough Council, Planning Department on Article 4 Direction in relation to Houses in Multiple Occupation prior to buying a Property. Please telephone Tamara Roberts, Planning Enforcement Officer on 01604 837842.
