Student life

Students outside Holdenby, Park Campus

The University of Northampton offers a vibrant student community, where students can enjoy an exciting social life and a supportive environment. There is also a wealth of student support, including a range of information, advice and guidance provided by Student Services.

The Students' Union at The University of Northampton works to make students' time at the University a positive experience, both academically and socially.

There are Students' Union buildings on both University campuses. The Students' Union at Park Campus includes the NN2 nightclub which hosts popular student club nights. Regular comedy nights are also staged at Avenue Campus.

Students at The University of Northampton are also able to join clubs and societies which interest them, as well as sports teams who compete at local and national level. These offer great opportunities to make new friends, try new things and continue hobbies.

Students can also get involved with the Students' Union. There are opportunities for everyone, from writing for the University magazine to becoming a sabbatical officer.

Outside of the University campuses, Northampton town centre offers a lively student scene. With over 20 nightclubs, live music venues hosting local and established bands, multiplex cinemas and plenty of restaurants, bars and shops, there is always plenty going on.

More information on events and student life at The University of Northampton can be found at the Students' Union website.
