Student IT facilities

An extensive range of IT facilities are available to students at The University of Northampton.

The University has two dedicated IT centres; in the Grendon building at Park Campus and in Maidwell at Avenue Campus. Student computing facilities are also available in both Campus libraries.

Facilities include:

• 24-hour access to computing facilities including colour printing, scanning and DVD burning
• IT support from experienced and friendly staff
• Items such as CDs and flash drives for sale in both libraries
• Wireless connectivity in libraries, IT Centres and other locations
• Portable interactive whiteboard and projector units available in both libraries
• 24-hour access to a student lounge with refreshment facilities in Grendon at Park Campus
• Laptops for loan in both libraries

Students studying Science and Technology subjects can also access state-of-the-art facilities in the newly refurbished Newton building. These include a specialised lab for mobile application development.
