Please use our course finder to view all undergraduate courses.

The University of Northampton prides itself on supporting its undergraduate students throughout their studies.

We do everything possible to provide courses that will exceed students' needs and aspirations. We offer an extensive portfolio of degree courses that focus on either traditional subject areas, offer a contemporary focus, or target a dedicated career path.

If you prefer a broader-based degree with increased flexibility, our extensive Joint Honours programme provides a choice of around 46 different subjects.

Our two-year undergraduate courses, leading to either Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/C) or Foundation Degrees, have a more vocational slant with exciting opportunities for work-based learning.

Many of these courses can be 'topped-up' to an Honours degree through an additional year of study. Every course is split into smaller sections of topic-based learning called modules. Though some modules are compulsory, there are also a range of elective modules to choose from, enabling learning that can be tailored to personal interests or career aspirations.

Learning flexibility

Whatever your learning requirements, it is our aim to be as accommodating as possible. For example, we offer many courses that can be studied by distance or e-learning. Most of our undergraduate awards can be studied part-time to help combine study with other demands or interests.

Entry requirements for most courses are sufficiently flexible to accept applicants who can demonstrate their potential for success from standard previous study, less formal qualifications or through relevant work experience.
