Researching courses
The University of Northampton has a wealth of different courses, in the areas of art and design, science and technology, social sciences, health, business and education. Courses are available in a variety of study modes including full-time, part-time and via distance learning.
To help your son or daughter narrow down their course search, try to determine with them their career ambitions and subject interests, as well as the type of study most suited to them.
Finances
Student finance can be complicated. There are lots of things to take into consideration when trying to estimate the cost of university, for example tuition fees and living costs. However, financial aid is available through a variety of means such as grants, scholarships, bursaries and student loans.

Visiting the University
You are welcome to visit the University on one of our Open Days, where you will be able to see the University facilities as well as speak to staff and current students.
Applying for university
Depending on the type of course, your son or daughter will need to apply through the University Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS), Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR), UK Postgraduate Application and Statistical Service (UKPASS) or direct to The University of Northampton.
