Facilities and resources

The University of Northampton's School of Social Sciences offers excellent facilities and resources to students.

Students and staff can meet and work in the Social Sciences Hub, a modern, relaxed, café style environment with wireless internet facilities.

The University offers specialised Psychology laboratories, which allow students to carry out advanced experiments. These include equipment to record physiological responses such as heart rate, as well as a two-way mirror and audio-visual recording facilities. There are also plenty of networked PCs with specialist software applications.

Students studying Law and other criminal justice courses also benefit from an on-campus Moot Room, a realistic courtroom where students can practise their skills in mock trials.
