Becoming a full-time athlete means that you have got to be dedicated, switched on and able to manage your time. I learnt all of these things at The University of Northampton.
Bobby White, Sport and Exercise Science Graduate
Bobby White is the captain and goal keeper for the Great Britain Handball Team and in 2012 he hopes to be representing his country in the Olympics in London. Bobby joined the University in 2005 to study for a degree in Sport and Exercise Science and in terms of his sporting career has never looked back.
My degree ... has put me in good stead for a career after the games, studying Sport and Exercise Science and being a full-time athlete goes hand-in-hand.
