Jon, a former graduate from The University of Northampton scooped a British Academy Award in 2011 for penning the script for the BBC puppet show 'Mongrels'.
My experience at The University of Northampton was important to me because it helped me to develop as a writer...In the English Department there was a real enthusiasm...and if you took them something that challenged the way that they taught they really fed off that.

The BAFTA also took into account Jon's work as a Script Editor on BBC sitcom 'Miranda' and his contribution to E4's 'Misfits'. Most recently Jon has been writing for the Channel 4 hit 'Fresh Meat' .
I would recommend The University of Northampton to anyone interested in developing as a writer.
