The University of Northampton offers employers the opportunity to advertise part-time and seasonal work to students through our Jobshop.
The Jobshop is available to all students at The University of Northampton as an online database or from our Student Services helpdesks.

The Jobshop advertises vacancies that:

Are up to 16 hours work per week during term-time
-
Pay at least the minimum wage

Are seasonal (this can be full-time during the University's vacation periods)
Why advertise at The University of Northampton?
Recruiting through the Jobshop allows employers to reach over 11,000 students who are studying a diverse range of subjects.
Many students at The University of Northampton are taking courses such as Foundation Degrees which require them to be in employment, are studying part-time, or are looking for extra income and experience.
The University of Northampton also hosts an annual part-time jobs fair.
The University will need the following information for any vacancy:

Full company address including postcode
- Location and postcode of vacancy (if different from above)
- Brief job description
- The number of hours (maximum 16 per week in term time)
- The rate of pay (this must be at least the minimum wage)
- Closing date (if applicable)
- Details on how to apply
- Details of part-time vacancies must be submitted on company headed stationery with logo
