Socially.Enterprising.

All social enterprises start with an idea, watch Thomas, Wayne and Nathan talking about how they set up their own socially enterprising theatre company after graduating from The University of Northampton.

Recognised as the Outstanding Higher Education Institution Supporting Social Entrepreneurship, at The University of Northampton you will be able to develop new skills that will benefit your studies and your employability after graduation.

As well as leaving us with a degree, working as part of a social enterprise whilst at university means that you will benefit from hands-on practical experience.

Like Thomas, Wayne and Nathan, many of our graduates have gone on to start their own businesses with a social purpose, and we'll continue to offer our support and guidance.

The University has really helped to nurture Tap the Table...we had a very basic idea when we started and the University and its tutors really helped to mould the company. They are continuing to help us now which is incredibly valuable.

Wayne Ingram

Established in 2011 Tap the Table creates performance art and workshops that communicate a motivational and educational message aimed at addressing current social issues affecting the wider community.

One thing that stood out for me at The University of Northampton was just how welcoming it was...it's a really supportive and creative environment and, I think, valuable to anybody who wants to further their career.

Wayne Ingram
