Events management

Planning and organising events is big business. Our very popular and successful Events Management BA programme, run by Northampton Business School, attracts over 100 students a year.

The course team has set up a new Events Management business, operating as a social enterprise, with its profits going to provide bursaries and scholarships for future students.

The business, which employs students on full-time placements, is also integrated with the degree programme thus giving students a fantastic 'real world' learning experience, and the business a tremendous work force.

The Events Management social enterprise started trading in September 2011 and gained three large external contracts in its first month of trading.
