Individual careers help for your students

The Careers and Employability Service have a range of services to support students and graduates with making and implementing career decisions. Services include:

  • Access to a careers adviser for one-to-one guidance; we offer both booked appointments and drop-in sessions
  • Careers Information Centres at both campuses with information on a range of graduate occupations, self employment, postgraduate study, work and study abroad
  • Advertising Work experience, internship opportunities and graduate vacancies
  • Help with CVs, applications and interviews
  • Psychometric testing
  • Email your query to a careers advisor
  • Telephone guidance
  • Our students and graduates self-help Careers pages
  • Career focused sessions, workshops and events on a range of topics
  • Careers management programme
  • Annual Careers Fair
  • Dedicated Careers Site on NILE
  • Dedicated programmes for students such as Launch Pad and the ILM Leadership Award
