Technology Enhanced Learning

Wordle for Technology-enhanced learning - words to describe what we do including support, consultation, technology, e-readers, e-learning The University of Northampton recognises the increasing importance of technology in supporting learning, teaching and research, and is committed to developing the quality of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) across the institution. This commitment is embedded at every level, from the Learning and Teaching strategies and Strategic Plan, right through to hands-on support for individual learners.

Technology is becoming integrated across the institution, enabling more flexible, learner-centred teaching, as well as the development of key digital literacies for both students and staff. The Learning Technology team works closely with academic schools, and also with Department for Enhanced Learning, Teaching and Employability and the Library to promote and develop TEL at every stage of the student experience, from transition into higher education, to graduation and life-long learning.

To find out more about the team, see the Learning Technology Team page. For more information on services and resources available, check the tabs on our virtual learning environment, NILE.
