Advertising

Advertising is a key part of the communications function for The University of Northampton.  It is used to establish our brand, drive interaction, stimulate contact, change perceptions and engage with prospects, for the University, individual schools or to support particular events.

The Marketing team supports and co-ordinates advertising campaigns. We can advise on design, choosing the correct media, targeting audiences and ensuring the best possible value.

We work with an external media buying agency called AdConnection, who take responsibility for booking advertising space across a range of media including local and national press, the internet and broadcast media. Working with a media buyers allows us to gain invaluable insight into the value and effectiveness of all media platforms and burgeoning digital and social media opportunities. They also work on our behalf to gain competitive rates.

Engine Creative, a locally based advertising agency, provide the design and copy for our advertising and are working with us as we progress the development of our brand.

The Marketing team has run many successful advertising campaigns, details of which are available on the past campaigns pages. Information about current campaigns is also available.
