MA Education
The MA Education at The University of Northampton is a flexible course which allows educational professionals working in schools or early years settings to gain a postgraduate qualification at their own speed and in topics of importance to them and their school.
The course can be studied to the following levels:
-
Postgraduate Certificate (60 Masters level credits)
-
Postgraduate Diploma (120 Masters level credits)
-
Masters (MA or MSc) (180 Masters level credits)
The course is taught through a series of lectures, seminars and workshops with additional small group and individual tutorials. All teaching takes place in small groups which enable students to engage in discussion and debate.
All modules are taught by the University's academic staff, all of whom are active as researchers and involved in publication and continuing professional development. All staff are acknowledged experts in their field and each module is co-ordinated by a member of staff with extensive experience and expertise in the module area.
