Childcare options
Students who have childcare responsibilities may be eligible to receive financial support from a range of sources while studying at The University of Northampton.
Funding options include:
- Childcare grant (full-time students)
- NHS funded courses
- Access to Learning Fund
- Students who have dependent children may also be eligible to apply for Tax Credits and Benefits. Please note: from 2013, a new single benefit called Universal Credit will gradually be introduced as part of wider welfare reforms to replace many means-tested benefits such as Income Support and Housing Benefit, as well as Tax credits.
