School of Education Partnership
The School of Education at The University of Northampton works in close partnership with schools, settings and organisations from Northamptonshire and neighbouring counties to provide placements for our students.
The University currently has almost 300 partner schools. Schools provide teaching placements for students who are working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). We also have relationships with other organisations for those pursuing a career with children and young people. These include, for example, Royal & Derngate Theatre, Silverstone Motorsport Circuit and the police force.
The Partnership offers students:
-
Experience of a range of schools, settings and organisations
-
Chance to observe and work alongside excellent teachers and other education professionals
- Assistance from the Partnership Office to secure placements
-
