Letter requests
From time to time, international students require proof of studentship at The University of Northampton. Student Services are happy to offer this additional service. To learn more please read our frequently asked questions.
Requests for letters will take up to three working days to process and students will need to collect the letter from the Student Centre with their student ID card. We are able to make alternative arrangements for students unable to come onto campus.
Students need to be aware that they must meet the following criteria before letters can be issued:
- All students must either be prospective, currently enrolled on a course or be a graduate of The University of Northampton.
- Students must not have any outstanding debts to The University of Northampton. (Students will be referred to the Office of Finance to pay outstanding monies. They may also call into a Student Services drop-in session.)
- Student information must be up-to-date on the student record system. (If information differs, students will be referred to their Programme Support Teams.) It is the responsibility of the student to inform Student Services that their information has been updated. Letters will not be completed until this has been done.
Requests for letters in relation to attendance at award ceremonies (for yourself or your guests) should be directed to the Ceremonies Office.
